Annelise Denning, BS, RDH, QOM Orofacial Myologist
Annie Denning was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. She was influenced by her father, Dr. George Gundersen, from whom she learned the clinical aspects of dentistry, spending summers working as a dental assistant during her teen years.
Annie attended the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She completed her dental hygiene training in 1998 and worked with both Dr. George Gundersen and her brother, Dr. Arne Gundersen, at Gundersen Dental Care. Annie enjoyed practicing dental hygiene for almost 20 years, until a neck injury required her to shift her passion for patient care and dental health into a new realm. She quickly discovered orofacial myology and, in April 2018, completed her post-graduate training in orofacial myology, launching her clinical practice in the fall of 2018.
Annie met and married her husband Rob while attending the University of Washington. They are blessed with three children. In her free time she enjoys singing, camping, and hiking and spending time with her family & pets.
